I've also been homeschooled all my life, until last year when I started college.
The issue about homeschoolers not being "socialized" is not as big as it sounds. The public school leaders only make that up because they want all kids in their school, learning under the government's format. There is a huge homeschooling community in my area. We get together regularly to have presentation and play days. All homeschoolers I know are well "socialized."
