Cancel that. We had a nice snowfall last night. A lot of it seems to have melted off already, but we had a couple inches in the morning.

Here, in the ring hole of Canada, Borden, ON, it's snow-hell. I limped back into Barrie, with less than 200m visibility three times this week. It's snowed every day this week, and until Georgian bay freezes, it's going to keep coming.

This will apparently be the coldest winter in 15 years according to Environment Canada.

The sky is covered in that white stuff again. They're only expecting 20-25 cm, which is not such a big deal, but the wind makes for poor visibility. Of course, this has to be the day I'm might have to go to the other end of town to hand in a paper for myself and my roommate... I don't think that'll be happening. I'm hoping for a snow day, but I don't think that'll be happening, either.

We had a little over a foot of snow yesterday. Then the rain started, so a fair amount has turned into slush, but the ground is still cupboard in that white stuff.

My hopes were crushed. Since there's no sidewalk on the street, there was a foot of snow crammed into the entrance of the bus shelter.

We are in the middle of a massive storm right now. It has been snowing for the past 24 hours and have high winds. Snow, blowing snow and all that fun stuff. There are massive drifts everywhere and things are not supposed to stop until tomorrow. Yey.

I ended up doing recovery calls in snow up to my knees. And I couldn't wear my snowshoes, because it takes too long to get them on and more importantly, off, in the vehicle. When I'm running back to my vehicle to get out of an ambush, I don't even have time to unsling my rifle, I just jump in, close the door and tell the driver to step on it.

They are predicting the worst storm in 60 years for Southern Ontario.

I'm really hoping my exam is cancelled.

All of my exams are already done. /(>_<)\

We got hit today so much that church was cancelled. Shortly after I woke up there was a flash of pinky-white lightning and a huge clap of thunder. Rather odd thing to have a thundersnowstorm.

That's funny, I was thinking about that last night and wondering if you could get lightning during a snow storm.

It's coming down really hard right now but we are supposed to get the worst of it tonight.

The snow was falling pretty heavily last night and this morning. It was supposed to be at its worst this afternoon but now it's not falling at all. They're predicting another 25-30 cm, though. I hope my exam's cancelled, but that seems unlikely.
