We got about 5-6 inches here in Chilliwack. It was worse in other parts of southern BC.

YOUR HEAD ASPLODE.

Yeah, the weather's been a little frenetic in BC lately. Vancouver's been nailed by a few storms. Vancouver Island's getting the worst of it I hear.

Today was my first snow day as a non-student. It's weird. I had nothing better to do than watch tv and sit on the Interhighway all day.

I did go to work for 45 minutes, mostly to pick up a box of Shreddies I left in my office when I bought in bulk a few weeks back from Price Chopper...

Sigh... I need to get a life.

Yeah you guys are getting nailed over there this year...I heard about Stanley Park and how it got hit bigtime by the windstorm in December. That's no good.

Over here in Montreal we got hit by a big snowstorm today. FINALLY.

Well, Sarnia's alternate-construction-season has finally ended. How do I know? Because Dana sent me out on a pregnancy craving run. It's coming down pretty good here, and the roads are terrible to drive on. Finally, it feels like January.

We've had below freezing temperatures for a while now. The snow's sticking around.

It was snowing when I left for work at 4:30. I was looking forward to taking pictures of my neighbourhood in the freshly fallen snow when I got home, but then it warmed up and the snow is all slushy and disgusting.

Our snow is still fairly solid. Hasn't quite slushed yet.

Ice is all we have here in the Hamilton, ON area. Trees have been collapsing. Their brances are still frozen and the power has been unstable.

A haiku on the weather.

Early morning, crisp white
Drowned the cars here, but later
Ankle-deep slush, rain.

It's been cold enough for all of our snow to stick... except for the area around the campus bus station. There's a solid foot or two of deep slush all around it. It makes me wish I'd kept up with ballet courses when I was younger.

We are in the middle of being whomped right now. I'm looking out the window here at work thinking about how much I want to go home and thinking about how much I don't want to get storm stayed. *sigh*
