FINALLY snow in Montreal!!!

It's kind of sad to have a year where Seattle gets snow before Montreal does...

we've got a light dusting on the ground here, (SW ON) but there really isn't much to talk of yet.

Two weeks ago, Vancouver got nailed with snow. Up where I live, we got about a foot and a half. Power was going out all over the place, school was cancelled, and the buses weren't running. This is what the city gets for not having any snow plows. It's almost gone now, though.

We had snow but thanks to wonderful global warming we got up to plus 7 today so now we just have wet soggy ground.

According to the CBC, there's supposed to be a blizzard soon. I doubt it (at least here) as I checked the weather network and it said there was only supposed to be a trace of snow. (Which we also currently have).

Mucho snow here. Which lends itself well to drifting in big, empty parking lots. Which is a necessity where I live. Every year, at the beginning of the snowfall, I practise skidding, and pulling out of the skid so that if I'm driving down the road and I skid, I react immediately. It happened on the way to karate last night - turning out of the base, I began to rear-wheel skid. And I wasn't even going very fast either - maybe 25 km/h. Never underestimate road conditions.

It's not minus 40 anymore! Too bad it left and took the snow with it.

The rain killed the snow here as well. Still patches, but it will be gone by tomorrow most likely.

I'm very disappointed at the serious lack of snow in Ontario/Quebec over the holidays. Even cottage country was green.

about 2 inches here today... though it'll be gone by Saturday and then back again on Monday, then too cold to snow by Tuesday... I don't get this weather.
