I'll give you a 6. I like the guitars, but the amp could be a bit better, or some effects could be added.

I'd say a 6.5, it's above average for sure but nothing really stands out to me, (nothing looks bad either).

Gear:
Epiphone Special II - sun burst finish
Gibson SG Supreme - emerald burst finish
Walden Acoustic
Yamaha Classical (had it forever, and I can't remeber the model number)
amps
Traynor YCV 50 Blue
Traynor VCX 12 Blue (40 watt extension cab)
pedals
Ts 9 Tube Screamer
Cry Baby Wah (they really need to issue a non JHS true bypass model...)
Line 6 DL4
MXR Phase 90 (the 100 has horrible tone)
Fulltone Distortion Pro

This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight.

I know I'm not following the rules here, but this rig is awesome. I would love to have a Tech21. I've only seen/heard one live once, and I had trouble picking my jaw up off the floor. Off-topic note: There's a huge concert here in jacksonville called Planet Fest. There's a contest where local bands compete to play at it and the band that's in the number one spot right now is the band that uses the tech 21, ha!

anyways: Skeeter, you get a 7.5 from me. That's a perfectly giggable setup. props on the G&L, you have good taste sir.

Fender TC-90 (thinline double-cutaway tele with two custom SD P-90s), Fender American Deluxe Tele, Gibson Faded SG, Fender MIM Strat, Alvarez RD-8 with L.R. Baggs Element Active System installed, Pod XTL, JCM 2000, Laney JCM800 clone, Marshall 1960A, Marshall 1960B, orange 2x12.

Thanks for the rating Casey. I love my G&L. It used to belong to Aaron Adams.

might be a good idea to quote who you are rating... that way it saves confusion... like i think Xevan there was rating nbFan but it looks like he was rating Casey...

Yeah i might buy a 5150 eventually, but not any time soon. As for effects, the only effect i'd buy is prolly a wah. The other ones screw up your sound IMO.
