MLB Baseball- How bout them Tigers???

I tried to tell you all with the MLB thread! I'd like to see another Tiger/Cardnial matchup,been waiting 38 years to see it happen!

I tried to tell people before this season even started.
Last year they really weren't that bad. at one point they were tied for the wild-card with about 25-30 games to go. But they're pitching was very inconsistent. I had a feeling this year would be better.

I hope it is the Cardnials.If it is,I predict it will be a little easier than the last time they met.That was a scary one,down 3-1,that was never done before.I think it will be a clean sweep if they in fact play. I don't know anything about the Mets,other than they're in New York!

Neither the Cards or the Mets have a deep enough pitching staff to challenge Detroit on a week of rest. The NLCS is going to go at least 6 games, maybe 7. I think the Mets have a more powerful lineup than the Cards, but it'll come down to pitching, and that's why neither of them have a chance against Detroit. Oh yeah, Det. has home field advantage, and the AL has swept the last 3 world series, and won 8 straight. Plus the tigers have won 8 straight games in the playoffs.

tigers were good during the regular season but fell apart in the playoffs so I wouldn't brag 2 much

Fell APART? They got to the World Series beating the favored Yankees & A's!
Come on, give em' some credit after losing 100 games 2 years ago, winning the ALCS is a big deal. Just because the ball didn't bounce their way (literally inches decided a couple big plays that swung the World Series) don't say they fell apart. BTW Leyland won manager of the year. Nuff' said.
