I lettered in theatre in High School, and I loved every minute of it. You always found me in the fine arts building either playin my sax, or more oftenly, reciting some Shakespeare or better yet, some Neil Simon.
Theatre definitely got me through high school as a great way to express myself. I become a different person when I get under the lights. I have always been really good at "becoming" the character I was portraying on stage.
This past year, I decided to try out for our Junior College presentation of "Annie Get Your Gun" to see if I've still got the knack for being on stage, plus, I got to see how well I could sing without a microphone. I'm happy to say I got a part as a utility actor, and I did a great job. I hope that my work schedule will allow me to be in another play or musical this year, but we'll have to see.
Long live the Drama Kings and Drama Queens!!!!
