| So, I found a roland sh-201... for 400 bucks BRAND NEW!!! I put it on layaway.. i'm very excited, the analogue-coolness makes me drool... I played around with it first, i'm very excited... i have 60 days to pay it and my parents are gonna pay most of it for my christmas... soo... i'm excited...

| well... i went and picked it up, had more money than i thought i had.. so i brought it home.. it's freaking sweet... i'm having so much fun.. i need to learn how to program it, but first i wanna backup all the ones that came with it... the ones already in the user databank are pretty cool...

| Hey nate, (btw if you don't respond to this i'm gonna PM you about it.. assuming you haven't see this).. can i use a AX-1(or7) with this?

| Ooooh... I just checked it out on Roland's site. It looks very nice. That seems like a perfect match for what you were looking for. You should easily be able to use a MIDI controller with it if you like. The external input thing is a nifty feature. So are dedicated knobs.

| yeah, finding it for 400 when most places that aren't guitar center sell it for 750 and guitar center sells it for 595.... i think i got a great deal... i've been having a huge amount of fun with it... and i'm gonna get an AX-7 sometime when i get some extra cash... i gotta learn how to program it first though

| wel... i figured out how to write patches to it, with some that i downloaded from the roland website... now i gotta figure out how to make my own sounds...
