i hate this. well i don't hate it as much as him but i don't like it. it is better than public school. i went to public scool for 2 years and i went to private school for 5 years. i've been in home school for 3 years now and i still don't like it. i liked private school the most.

It would be very hard to talk about band stuff...I mean that is unless you were a one man band or had like 10 other siblings who were in the homeschool band class with you. And you figure some of those siblings would have to be pretty young and wouldnt be able to play very well. Maybe they could do the triangle.

| While I have nothing against homeschooling, I know that it wouldn't have been a good option for me. Especially since there are so many good Christian schools in my area. That and the fact that I just would have gone crazy having to spend all day with myself. |

| Done now, all but one year (8th) homeschooled, private school for that one year (and kindergarden if anyone cares). Did community college/small private college courses during jr/sr year.
Was rough at times but the only thing I'd change is that 8th grade year. (and that attempt at a homeschool boy scout troop, its not cubbies, moms shouldn't be that invovled.

| indeed but we've done multiple co-ops where you end up taking classes from other people anyway, so it's not like *isolation* but yeah it's fun

| I went to public school through the 4th grade, and was homeschooled until I graduated this past May.
I can't really say if I liked it or not. There were times when I enjoyed it, and times when I absolutely hated it. It afforded me a lot of opportunities I wouldn't have had otherwise, while taking away other opportunities I might have had through school. I had a few friends who were homeschooled, but for the most part, I didn't get along with any of the homeschoolers I met. I don't know. I guess I don't really have an opinion one way or the other, and have no idea what I'll do with my kids.
