I went with a friend. We had a great time. I'd suggest doing that... that way you still get to go... and you don't have to worry about the preasures of a "date".

Mine is in about a month's time and I am going with a friend. There is nothing there other than that we are friends and going to the formal together. The majority of people in my grade who are going with someone are doing the same thing. Of course, with our school, we are only allowed to go with people from our school, and our grade. I guess that takes pressure off as well.

Going with a friend seems to be the best option to me, though going with a group would probably be fun as well.

The first time I went to prom was with a bunch of other different girls. We danced the night away, had a great dinner at a wonderful restaurant, and then had an awesome scavenger's hunt as our after prom activity. It was so fun.

The second and final time I went, I had a date. We had a lot of fun, but we were also just friends.

I'd recommend just going with a guy who's a friend or going with a bunch of girls you are close to.
