| I like this one
but there needs to be more than just one guitarist on there add some drums, and change the background color to navy blue with white tie-dye streaks.(if PS will allow you to do that) Those are my thoughts first glance, I don't really like the other one very much.

| the birds one seemed too dark to me, and I didn't like the color schemes on the blue rocker one.
I sent all of them to a friend of mine that does graphic design and these are his suggestions for the orange rocker one.
use a san serrif font and make it bigger
limit graidients to 2-3 colors
and make everything all around bigger
are you actually going to be able to print these in color? or is this just a web flyer design? |

| Having three lines for "Sherwood Youth Coffee Nights" is silly, and the line breaks look weird. I'd just make it two lines: "Sherwood Youth" and "Coffee Nights."
You don't have a single time listed on any of these fliers. People need to know that kind of stuff.
Only one of your backgrounds has anything to do with anything. You don't have to actually show a coffee cup and a burger and fries, but at least be relevant.
You're overusing black font; especially on the darker backgrounds, it just doesn't work well.
Don't over-rely on strict left-flush or right-flush alignment for your "body text." Mix it up a bit. Try some centered, some random, some angled, some "shaped."
You really haven't done anything with your font to help your message. Use different sizes/styles.
Printing full-page-color fliers, professionaly or "at-home," is a waste of ink, money, and time. Try a white background with a few added graphic elements on top.
You're only using default character sizing and line and character spacing. Mix it up! Change stuff!
