He will be the man in Denver, shouldering the scoring load, and he is still only 22. From two years ago to last season, Melo increased his FG% by 5% and his ppg by 6 points. I expect that he will improve on that this year. 28 ppg with solid %'s isn't out of the question for him. McGrady might have been an injury risk last season, but he had to deal with a lot of family issues as well, and he talked about how that factored into his performance. He actually doesn't have too bad of an injury history prior to last season. Two years ago, he played in 78 games.
Now, if Gerald Wallace and Andre Kirilenko would hurry up and start producing, I would get to start gloating | It's Kaman's numbers vs. Chandler that's really bugging me. I like Billups numbers, and they will improve, but I really need Kaman to pull |

You might've actually passed me on blocks, but I really solidified my grip on the 5 other categories I lead. I had some monster games tonight...
JJohnson: 28 pts, 10 rebs, 3 ast, 3 3's
DHoward: 21 pts, 22 rebs (!)
QRichardson: 21 pts, 11 rebs, 3 stl
And then Michael Redd's 57 points couldn't stop my Jazz duo:
CBoozer: 32 pts, 10 rebs, 3 ast
DWilliams: 27 pts, 15 ast, 5 stl, 3 3's
(oh, and a combined 12-12 on FTs)
Deron Williams is a beast. The last 2 games, he's averaging 26.5 pts & 14.5 ast. |

| Yea...FG% is probably out of reach along with pts & rebs (Nazr killed me coming up with only 1 rebound.) I'm way ahead in 3's and FT% (Thank You Barbosa!) so those should hold. I'm up by a couple blocks, and within striking distance of Steals & possibly assists. I might possibly get it to 4-4...If It really went well I could get 5-3. But I admit Rebs & Points are over.
I'm loving my Barbosa pickup- three 3's, 16 pts. 12 assists 4 steals, & a block.
Hinrich had 4 threes along with 23 pts. & 4 assists.
My only hope for a win is to score big assists, take steals & hold blocks.
Tough, but possible. I'm predicting a tie. |

Tough, but possible. I'm predicting a tie. | not a chance. The 5-3 score will stand. The only way it changes is if somehow I catch you on FT%. |

Neither Kaman, Krstic or Bynum had any assists. Alston only had 2. My three big guys by themselves could have pulled in 6 assists, and Alston had 10 the other night. That would have tied it. So it was possible, not really a blowout.
Steals, Rebs & points ended badly.
I'm still in 2nd overall but I've got Benny next
This could be a tough week if I don't get a forward to start producing, Nocioni is killing me. Billups hasn't put up anything big yet and Hamilton is injured. So there's a lot of potential but I need a lot of guys to step up to compete with the Monster I created . |

| The NBA schedule is horrible for me this week. I only have about 3 players playing the first 3 nights...then Everyone is playing on the next 2 nights, and 4 the last night. Thankfully Benny has a similar thing. Everyone plays Sat. and only 1 on Sunday. |

| Alright...good start this week. I'm up 5-2 early.
Unfortunately that's cause it was Larry Hughes, Richard Jefferson, & C. Wilcox
vs. Ray Allen, Krstic & Darko. I have a feeling steals are going to keep hurting me. |

| Well I just got Dirk for the 2nd straight year. Last year it cost me Duncan. This year it cost me Bosh. My rebounds & blocks will suffer a bit until Gasol comes back. I'll be looking to trade Harrington for a solid 3 point shooter once the trade goes through. So if you're interested, let me know. |

| This league's a movin & shakin'...I like it.
There are 3 pending trades right now.
I'm dishing Nocioni & Bogut for Deng & Prince. I needed someone who'll give me more playing time & 3's (Prince) and Deng should give me some solid #'s too.
If this trade goes through I'll really be the Detroit Pistons. I have Billups, Hamilton & Nazr. Add Price to that & I've got the whole starting line-up other than 'Sheed who I don't want cause he's so inconsistent.
I just realized I got smoked last night. My team actually had pretty good #'s but Benny's on fire!
Except, what's up with C. Kaman? He had 3 pts., 3 rebs, 2 blocks, and that's it.
Garnett is still producing big numbers-
20Pts 13Rebs 7Assists 3Steals 5 blocks
My Guards are putting up good stats, but my C's & forwards other than Garnett & Odom are not producing.
