Though, let's be honest, for the most part, the Christmas episodes have been highlights of every season, or at least in my opinion. I especially liked Stanley's rant during the intro. I don't know why, but I thought it was hilarious.

| I don't think I would be tuning in if Dwight left. He is one of the few characters that I still enjoy watching...

If the character were to leave the show, I don't think I'd care.
And I'm still surprised just how well James Spader's 'Robert California' character is fitting in to the show. I actually do not miss Michael Scott at all.
Last week's episode was one of the most bizarre they've yet made, imho. |

| I haven't even been watching The Office in two seasons (beyond a few episodes, like the Will Ferrell arc), but I must say that that is a terrible idea. |

There could also be cameo appearances from former co-workers, Jim and Pam, Michael and Holly...
Seems The Office has nearly run it's course for me. |

| I kept meaning to come back to this thread and post. I have watched every episode this season as well as the prior ones. I have to say, I think it's about over for me. I feel like I watch it, just because it's what I've always done and not something that I find funny. The last episode with the house party at Robert California's was just weird. The more that his character is shown, the less I like him. Not that he's terrible, it's just that he's odd.

| I've just been watching this season out of habit and moments of bordem more than anything else. It's really beginning to feel like I'm watching a completely different show now. The last few episodes have been remarkable unmemorable and bizzare. At first it seemed like they were making Robert out to be some kind of eccentric genius businessman, but now I have no idea what the deal is with that character.
I will say that recent cold open with Dwight, Stanley and the meatballs was pretty funny, but that's the first gag in a while that's really got me laughing.

| I think I might be just about done with The Office. I'm watching out of duty at this point in time.
I don't like anything they're doing these days. |

| My problem is that they getting laughs by going broader instead of writing smarter (which is what they've been doing for about 4 seasons). So instead of a witty show about real life office situations filled with relatable characters, we get Jim telling Dwight he saw bed bugs, a wacky British character, a silly business presentation, Jim and Dwight fighting in a hallway.
If you watch the first two seasons, Michael and Dwight were really the only two over-the-top characters (and a little bit of Creed). The humor came from seeing how a variety of typical office personalities respond to their antics. Now virtually every character is over the top. There are no reactionary characters because they're all equally absurd. The show currently has absolutely no subtly and little to no connection to what an actual office is like.
They've gone so far down this path that there's really no way out of it. The characters are all too wacky. |

| Creed doing "Strike, Scream, Run" may be my favourite Office moment of all time. I cried.
