Dime it. I can get sounds reminiscent of classic punk rock out of it without any gain mods with my schechter. It could pull off hard rock with the emgs acceptably. Nothing to write home about for it, but is capable.

I would imagine it would sound hideous through a 5 inch speaker, it would be rather nasally and thin, besides, its not as if the combo does not have a jack on the back that could easily be routed to a cab. Also, there have been guys who replaced the 8 onch speaker in that little amp with a 12. Its a tight fit, but it can be done. However, it is a dark amp, and the 8 inch speaker does nicely balance that to a degree. It may sound a bit muddy through a 12.

Hmmm... Maybe I will get the combo then.

Where'd you find someone who fit a 12" in there? I'd like to look into that myself....I didn't think one would fit at all.

one of the mod forums for it had someone who had. I am almost positive one would fit in mine. (I haven't done exact measurements, but after reading about it, and taking a look in there, it did look possible (Though incredibly tight)
