For sure.

and FWIW, if you're going to invest in a board, don't get that one...get something that's going to afford you more flexbility in your pedal positioning. |

| yah after looking around a bit I sorta came to realize that lol that line 6 DD is insane but exspensive.
and well I havent completely decided against the pod but ok what would be a good pedal board?
what do you guys think tho pod xt or pedalboard+pedals? right now im leaning back towards the pod xt I mean as long as it has the insane delay and good wah I will be happy and everything else will be a bonus. |

I've always been partial to the cases here, but I've never used them. I've been told that they're decent cases though, as long as you don't need something for touring. |

of course, I have a huge bias because a pedal setup is my current rig, and because ultimately I'm really lazy and I want to be able to throw something down and plug it in and go. this isn't to say that the PODxtl is too complicated, just that I'm entirely too lazy to learn a new system.
I definitely would recommend that you look into what you want. ultimately you know yourself better than I could, and you know what's going to suit your tastes better. There's alot of things that the XTL can do that my pedal rig can't (like all of the amp models...a bunch of effects I don't have...direct recording, just to name a few). |

| well just because your right I do know myself probably better then you lol I think I'll have to go w/ the podxtl. Is there any hardshell case that you know of that will fit a podxtl ((along w/ possibly a pedal or 2?))? I know there has got to be one around somewhere I just cant find it.
//EDIT: I found something ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Pedal-Board-Road...em300024734367) lol but thats it. |

| Oh, it has about 14 sweet delays, and like 10 sweet wahs. The effects modeled on the PODxt are top of the line. Just ask all the members on CGR that have sold all their FX pedals after buying the PODxt. And if you ever happen to need other FX, it's all there.
The PODxt is a flexable beast.
And this case fits it: http://www.samedaymusic.com/product--GATGK2110 |

| thanks Rainer. Well I think im going to go on ahead and buy it from this guy. Now all I need is a good hard case and im set lol(any suggestions would be nice). Also I think im going to hold off on getting an amp for a while and just keep my eyes open in my local stores for what has already been listed( I think tho I will probably either get a 2x12 cab w/ a peavy classic 50/50 poweramp, a mesa boogie mark IV, or an ENGL combo of some sort ). Thanks for your help guys. When I get the pod xt I'll be sure to put up some pic's in the effects forum and give my thoughts and opinions.

| I'm sure it looks just like ours.
If you really have no regrets with the PODxt's tones, I've always thought that it would match great with a Crate PowerBlock... for the ultimate portable rig, at least. Though A nice tube power amp really lets it sing. |

| I would recoment a avatar cab and a thd bivalve or univalve. You get really good deals on them when you buy them with a cab and they fit your pricerange.
