The acoustic amps from Fender, Marshall, Crate, Peavey and other mass producers are decent enough. Ibanez makes the Troubadour series and they're probably on the low-end of acoustic amps.
I've never tried a Genz Benz...maybe worth a look.
On the high end...Rivera. Probably smokes the rest of the field but you'll pay $2000ish to get one. |

| As far as acoustic guitars damaging electric amps... they don't. However, like it's been said, thye do sound better plugged into an acoustic amp compared to an electric amp. |

| Okay, I've talked to my mom, she says all we have enough money for is the Epiphone I posted earlier. Unless someone can direct me to an acoustic amp under $300, then I'm going with that one.

This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight. | |

You could look for a good used one, voiced especially for acoustic guitars. SWR, Marshall, Fender, Roland make decent ones. I had a Marshall AS80R once that I got used online for $400+, but that's above your price. I gave that one away (prompted by my wife who told me to pass it on to someone who would use it in music ministry). I do encourage you to check used, but if you can't find one, maybe the Behringer will be okay. |

| A keyboard amp is generally going to sound alot better than an electric guitar amp will for acoustic.
your price mark for that epiphone is $270. You can definitely score something like a Peavey KB series (which were made to be used with keys, bass and acoustic guitar) or a Roland K series, or go for one of the earlier mentioned amps used. I've seen at least a dozen Fender Acousticsonic Jr. amps (the model bigger than the 30) within your pricerange (actually in the $175-$225 range) on craigslist. |
