| Noah from Pillar, sure he doesn't lay off difficult riff after difficult riff, but there's something unique about him.
Guy from Becoming the Archetype, haven't heard alot of him, but out of what I've heard it's amazing.
And of course, Keaggy. The greatest Christian guitarist ever. |

| The lead guitarist from Maylene and the Sons of Disaster is great. I love the riffs. Very hard stuff to play. |

He is. Listen to the first four Living Sacrifice CDs to hear how crazy he can be with his guitar playing.

| oz fox of stryper and lincoln brewster are good.
jody davis, formerly of the newsboys, is very good too. even though he didn't do much of anything crazy with them, his solo at the end of live performances of Always was probably one of the top 5 Christian modern rock solos. you can see it on the Shine: the hits live one night in pennsylvania dvd

| Of the old school, Keaggy, Oz Fox, Doyle Dykes, Dan Huff [when he wants to solo].
Of the new school .... I really can't say. It would be nice for real guitar leads to come back into music.
Modern Bands that are including guitar solos in their songs include Poor Man's Riches, The Showdown, Showbread, and Edison Glass, among others.
I think Emery's guitarist can really play but I have to hear more.
I am mixed on Noah Henson. Just say and photogged Pillar this past weeken [you can see pics of Noah on my myspace front page and blog on the fest - http://www.myspace.com/concertphotozine.
He's definitely fun to photo live, but I don't necessarily see anything he did that would make him one of the top. I have not heard Living Sacrifice but have heard that Jason Truby can really play. |
