This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight.

I think not. Go listen to Oz Fox, earlier Impellitteri, or Jeff Scheetz for good electric work by Christians. Talent-wise, Tyler can't even touch those guys.

Different people have different opinions. One persons opinion isn't more important or right than another persons. In my opinion, I really like Tyler Burkum's playing and think his one of the top Christian guitarists. But Phil Keaggy has to be the best in my opinion, because of his skills at both the acoustic and electric.

Point taken.

Yah, I personally think that Tyler is very good, and his playing especially fits the band that he is in (Audio A). I don't think he's the top Christian electric, in my opinion it is still Thomas Daugherty from The Elms. That guy's got some pretty freakin' awesome solos! And his playing otherwise is still very good.

I still think you ought to go listen to some Stryper, old-school Impellitteri, or Jeff Scheetz. I think they're better than almost anyone in the Christian market, save for Phil Keaggy.

I second Dennis Agajanian. He is one crazy flatpicker...(have you ever seen him in Harvest Christian Fellowship's webcasts? It's pretty wild...)

Phil Keaggy seems to have the number one spot in this thread!

Bainbridge and Keaggy, easily.

Everyone has their opinions, but some opinions are wrong.

Id say Oz Fox or The Chariots guitarist.
