Campus Ministry Hi everyone! I'm rico. I've been a song leader in our church for seven years, I've been in this ministry since high school. I just love to sing and I'm glad I'm using this talent for God. I had grown so much from this ministry spiritually. Now that I'm in college, I am blessed 'coz I joined a campus ministry group where I could continue to sing for God. Now I can lead the worship singing once a month in front of my fellow students. However, I'm not that comfortable with all the people that I work with, I mean the people in the campus ministry. We have a pastor who leads and guides us, but most of the people who handles the musical instruments are really young. Indeed, they are talented, no question to that, but I'm having problem with their questionable behavior. At times, I just want to open it up but I'm afraid I would end up hurting their feelings. I'm like three years older than these guys, so I just want to tell them about their behavior like an older brother. We should be shining for Jesus and not put up a ministry so we could shine and promote ourselves. I know I should pray for them but what do you think? Should I tell them with gentleness and respect? |
