| Yamaha P250 Repairs I was the delighted owner of a P250 which I donated to a church. After about a year, one of the white keys became warped and was jamming up against another one. (I was really surprised that only one of the keys would warp as I have never had any trouble with any of my Yamaha keybords ever)
The pastor being an ex piano repair man, decided to do the work himself instead of the expense of sending it in for repairs.
He repaired the affected key by sanding down the side of the key. He re-assembled the key and tried to put the key/hammer assembly back onto the base. But he could not find out how to attach the circuit board that contains the small rubber velocity swithches that the hammer strikes. There were screws that hold the circuit board in place, and holes in the circuit board, but no screw holes to screw them into on the hammer assembly.
He has had several people look at it including myself and we cannot find out how to attach the part. It is a complete mystery.
Does anyone have any technical knowledge in this matter. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Or if you know someone who I could talk to over the phone, I would be most grateful.
God bless you all
