#8 | | Baritone ax'er | i love playing to "Snap your fingers, Snap your neck." the Soldier's Song, Fire to my Soul, and Undying really stand out, but theyre all great songs. but i do have one question about DH: ever since i discovered DH, ive noticed that most of their songs, or at least some of them, have lyrics that dont sound anywhere near Christian. i.e. from "The Awakening,"
"When you disgrace/disagree( cant make it out), i want to see your eyes burn!
im not quite sure who he's directing these lyrics at, but i do know that DH is labeled as a Christian band. can anyone help me out, especially since the answer is probably right under my nose?
P.S., whatever the answer is, their music will always rock!

P.S., whatever the answer is, their music will always rock! | they are defintily a christian band, and on solid state for that matter.
I dont really know what that lyric was talking about but I kindof gave up that ritual of analyzing every verse of every song of every band thing along time ago.
i mean it isnt liek demon hunter talks ever about burning women or raping churches...and the tryptich itself has some of the most spirtual and heatfelt lyrics of any of their cds yet.
but the new cd wil be better i bet |

| 9/10. Yet another superb Demon Hunter album! I wouldn't say it's quite as good as Summer Of Darkness, but it's still amazing. There's a good mix of growling with clean vocals that keeps things fresh. My favorite songs are Undying , Relentless intolerance, Deteriorate, The Science Of Lies, and Snap Your Fingers Snap Your Neck. |
