| A great metalcore CD. Jordan Mancino is one of the best drummers in hard Christian music right now.
I give it an 8

| this is the first cd i have ever given a 10. Because everything is perfect about it in my opinion. sure there are heavier bands out there, taht may hit more notes etc. but these guys know how to compose. In my opinion, one of, if not THE best, metalcore cd ever. Something about it makes me listen to it over and over, and i have had it for so long. Amazing cd.

| Lots of double-bass, crazy guitar. But every song sounds the same. They're good...Underoath is better. 8. |

| I've had this since March, but it has never been one of my favourite cds. I like it alot, especially songs like Meaning in tragedy, confined, darkest nights, etc. the intro of Through Struggle i love.
Despite this, as Mr. Claw said, it does get very repetitive (to me anyway). The same riffing style is used throughout the cd, and the guitar sounds don't vary greatly.
I gave it 8 - some amazing songs, and many gd songs, but not the kind of variety that makes a great cd. |

| Yea this cd gets repetitive really fast. But there are a few great standout out songs like Meaning in Tragedy, and Morning Waits. Confined though is pretty much the most generic metalcore song ever written. |

i still don't see this cd as repative, i see it as completely original, the songs never sound the same, and whoever said Confined was the most generic metalcore song ever written, thats disgusting. Its just as original as the others on there.
And if you think its a repetative cd, then how come you isolate Confined as generic and the others not? If all the songs sound the same . . .
which they don't.

| I isolated it because its the most generic of them all. Everything on that CD has been done before better and faster by other better bands. Im an AILD fan, no doubt, and i like SAS, but in the scheme things im gonna face it, they're not THAT original.
and whoever said underoath was better doesnt know what he's talking about. The only thing i can think of that he was trying to compare was old death metal UO to AILD. |
