Well without comparison, SAS does get repetitive. |

| I bought this CD being really stoked on the three singles/videos. But I found none of the songs after "Through Struggle" worth listening to, and the static lasting till about 1:45 on "Illusions" seems pointless to me.
In the metal world this band is pretty mediocre, but in terms of Christian bands they're one of the best. The songs sound very similar to each other, but that's like most metal albums (except for Demon Hunter's "The Triptych"). All in all a 7 from me.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal".

Reason: took time to type, was third person saying "they're not death metal"

| I love these guys. I only listen to 4 hard/metal bands now and AILD is one of them. CD was awesome.

| Great CD, like others said a little repetitive, but it has some very good moments (Through Struggle, Reflection/Repeating Yesterday, Illusions after the stupid static intro). Good vocals good lyrics, guitars are a little too "chuggy" some more melody lines would have helped the monotony in parts and differenciate the songs. Good drumming, cool guest vocals, clean vocals were good... All in all a solid effort. Some more melodies, maybe some keys or something to spice up some of the less stand out tracks would have gone a long way, but it's definatley not a bad CD by any means. IMHO at least.
