Have you ever helped someone break their computer?

Today, I helped Reed block CGR on his computer.

Reed: yay
Reed: cgr isn't working
Daniel: w00t
Reed: thanks!

Well, I've helped someone destroy their computer with a bat, and some concrete. But that might not be what you're talking about.

Nice new sig, by the way.

I've accidentally helped continue to break a computer before. Now I just have to figure out how to get it back in the other direction. Otherwise, I might join the I destroy computers with baseball bats club.

Just recently, I removed some spyware and it ended up killing AOL (it wouldn't recognize the modem). Even after reinstalling AOL, it wouldn't work (I could dial out without AOL though).

I ended up reinstalling Windows for them, as well as setting up Ubuntu as well.

Cricket bats, my friend. More meat with which to mash.

I've never been privelaged to be able to break/smash/shoot a computer... yet. I've been tempted to do so many times. Once I move out...
