| Anyone Tried WMP11? I downloaded the beta and everything works great. It's definetly an improvement over WMP10. I like how everything is now streamlined and all. I haven't tried it in any of the new skins yet, but here are some screenshots.
The first one shows it in Now Playing view.
Second, Library view.
Third, the toolbar mode.

For years I used a typical off-the-shelf bar-type soap and I had no idea that, even though I rinsed properly and thoroughly after every cleansing, there was still a soap scum residue on my hands and fingers.
This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight. | |

| I've got mixed feelings on it. I can't shut it down when it's minimized, I can't open my search in a treeview, the startup time seems longer (though my array filling may be to blame), etc. |

| It seems to be sort of like IE7. It's alright in XP, but it fits in much better with Vista. |

| The only thing that really keeps me from trying it out is the new look of the library. Is there any way to change from those album art thumbnails to just plain old text? |

| Wow, I forgot I had it installed. I must have downloaded that instead of WMP10 when I reformatted.
Let's see. You can change it back to list view. It still shows them in groups by however you're sorting it. |

| Nifty. I downloaded it. After I get done listening to music for tonight I'll install it and try it out.
Does it have to re-organize the library after you install it? Like pull all the files through WMP again? |

I actually want it to do that, because I recently moved all my music to an external HD, so a lot of duplicates showed up when I opened WMP next and told it to pull the music from there. Being the lazy person I am, I just never bothered to clear most of 'em out. So I'm glad it does that. 'Course it'll take my library just a tad longer than yours, but still. Cool. |

| Installed. Me likey. The upgraded search function is nice to finally have on a Microsoft product. Still can't decide on a good library interface, though. Usually I just browse through everything and just find something I wanna listen to.
Any idea on how to put what it's sorted as two separate albums as one album? It's done that with a couple albums I've got. |

| WMP is one of the most bloated, annoying programs in the world.

| Only second to iTunes. iTunes just flat out sucks.
But boy do I love me some WMP. Tried other players and just haven't liked 'em nearly as much. Do I have bad taste? Maybe. Do I like my media players to look a little bit more like, oh, a media player than a pile of text in a box with music spitting out of. Yeah. Oh well. |

| I like WMP11, it's better than all the previous versions. It also comes with that URGE store thing where you can get a 15-day free trial. I wish it was longer, but it was great while it lasted lol |
