Hey!
Just wanted to ask you to pray for my family. My mom’s boyfriend moved in with us last October. (My parents were divorced last year. All went fine at first, but now there is a few problems ( just like any relationship, I guess) My mom’s boyfriend’s son who is 18 moved in in May. It really feels like we don’t have a family anymore. It is almost like him, and his kid against my mom and us. There is a lot of tension, and anger. With all these people my mom is having a lot of trouble with money (there is 5 kids), because she pays all the bills etc. She also let her boyfriend buy stuff on her credit card, which he paid the payments late, so now her credit, is bad. My mom is under a lot of stress, so please pray for her. I’m not critical of my mom and respect her choices, but I really wish she would have waited a while, before getting too far deep in all of this to back out. My little bro. has always been a very angry child. (My dad was abusive to him) Just pray that he can find peace, and joy. I really love my family, but at the same time I wish things could be different, I still have a lot of anger towards my dad, for the stuff he did to us our whole lives, and everytime I see him (every other sun.) I just can’t get past those stupid feelings. I know forgiveness will take some time, and I really want to forgive him, but it’s hard. My Dad is the one who brings us to church, my mom & mom’s boyfriend don’t understand why I want to go. (My mom is a Christian, but has been hurt by a lot of churches.). My mom used to really want to go, but she is kind gullible, and will agree with her boyfriend on a lot of subjects. Her boyfriend wants to be our Dad, and we even call him our step-dad, but in a way I kind feel a bit rebellious towards him. I know my attitude isn't what God wants, I absolutely hate change, but maybe that’s what he’s trying to teach me. I don’t really know what I’m saying, but please pray. And if you have any thoughts please share. Jesus is my strength, I just want to become more like him, and not give in to bitterness etc.

man, i really feel for you. thankfully i've never gone through anything like that, but my grandparents are fosterparents, so i know all about it. i don't want to be bossy, but try explaining things to your mom. she shouldn't have all the responibility. the boyfriend and his son (assuming they don't) should get jobs and pay for their stuff. why is the son living with you anyway? he's old enuff to take care of himself! anyway, i'm glad you're still going to church, i'll keep you in my prayers.

My mom's boyfriend does have a job, he just dosn't really help out. I guess hsi son lives with us.... i don't really know. But thanks for all your prayers and advice!
