These Peavey cables are awesome and you won't have to trade your favorite pedal to buy them. I've been using them for the last four years and have never had one go bad or even hint of a bad connection. Other cables I've had have come and gone since then. The ends are not soldered and are extremely solid. You can get dealer info on the Peavey site.

In my rig, I have one instrument cable that I've been using for 8 years, no problems at all. Another one of my cables is an early prototype Pro-Co "glow in the dark" from the late 1970's. This cable was given to me by a friend who used to work at Pro-Co when these cables were being developed. Again, even though it's getting close to 30 years old, it still works fine. Most of my other cables were purchased at the time of need (adding new gear to the rig) and haven't failed yet. I keep my cables loosely coiled with neutral lay in a protected bag, and I run them in low-traffic areas, taped to the floor at key places for strain relief. I'm also careful about how I remove them from jacks and the like.
