Biblical Languages

I'm going to be majoring in biblical languages, and my desire is to one day be on foreign territory translating the Bible into who knows what language. I was just curious if anyone has studied any of the languages and has any advice to offer. I've only been told how hard it is going to be, but I know nothing is too difficult for the Lord.

I've only briefly looked at Greek and won't properly begin to study it until next year.

Out of all my buddies that have taken both Greek and Hebrew...the general consensus is that Hebrew is easier.
