I'm thinking about getting a soundcard specifically for recording as well. I've been thinking about the Firepod, but that might be a bit too much for what I'd be doing. I just like the fact that it comes with mic pre's.

my VOS project i'm thinking i'm gonna write a rock sonata(maybe, i think that's what it is...) with 4 movements... Maybe that's a concerto, whatever... and then i'm gonn have about 6 other songs, they will be a classical almost style piece but with modern instruments and a rock overlay...

yeah, was a PSU problem, i was plannin on upgrading it anyways, so until then i'm not gonna run anything off usb power while i game...

Are you sure you can't get whoever sold it to you to replace it? I mean, I know you're going to upgrade it, but at least that way you can sell your power supply to make up part of the cost of the new one.

it came with the case... it's only 420watts they reccomended and upgrade to 500+

Well, it turned out it was the second vid card, they are gonna send me a new one via fed-ex... i move on suday into my new apartment!! kinda excited kinda sad, i'm gonna miss my girlfriend...
