Shaken::::Christian/Rock/Metal UPDATE

Hi, I play guitar for a rock band Called Shaken from Mississippi. We are a Christian band and the purpose of the band is to spread the message of Jesus Christ to everyone that we can and glorify him through our music and he has truly blessed us in doing that. We recently released an EP called New Beginning which was produced by Grammy nominated, and 4-time Dove award winning producer Travis Wyrick (POD, Since October, Disciple, Pillar). The title track, and first single from the EP "New Beginning" is currently in rotation on numerous Christian rock radio stations, and is charting in requests and plays on www.christianrock.net. We would really appreciate everyone who sees this to visit us and talk to us. We love to talk to people about anything. If you have myspace add us and message us. Our URL is SHAKEN on Myspace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads. You can also visit our website at SHAKEN, and our Facebook which is SHAKEN | Facebook. Thank you for your time and God Bless

Ha yea it is different. The stuff on our myspace doesnt have nearly as much country influence as our newer stuff though. our other guitarist grew up around southern gospel and country music because his dad is a steel guitarist so ever since he could play guitar he has been sitting in with bands like that so that is where the influence comes in from a writing standpoint.

Our other guitarists dad has a small gospel quartet studio that we record in. our guitarist does most of the engineering and mixing of the albums so each time we go in to record he gets better and better at it because he learns more about the programs so as of now its not professional quality but hopefully it will get there. we are currently writing music for our next album. we hope to have it out early next year.

Thanks for checkin it out guys. we really appreciate it!

They don't have a bass player at the moment. The old one left. I saw them twice in concert. The last time i saw them was August 30th with With Faith or Flames, With Blood Comes Cleansing, and Benison. Great show.
