Buttons Suggestion

I suggest you make the "home, artists, guitar tabs...etc" buttons and the "user cp, register, calendar....etc" buttons the same color and font. They dont have to be the same size... but IMO it would be better if they matched.

I agree....or, to bring up an old word, I concur. I noticed this a while back but didn't say anything...they changed colors and might have even changed fonts, but they don't match, so they look out of place to me.

That's being planned. I was going to redo them today, but I bought another hard drive instead

They'll be changed on Monday or Tuesday

The new HD still isn't quite operational yet...had a few delays
So I'm still out of commission for the day.

What are you gonna do? Make the big ones on the left the same as the small ones on the right?... I think that would be good... with the fading and that font.

Ok, I agree they need to be redone. Luke, Phil, whoever - go for it.

Another question though - should I add any more to go with those up there? Those were the main ones I thought of, but is there some other section of the site that deserves it's own button at the top...?

IHL,
Mickey

Perhaps the Praise section? I know it's not really messed with terribly much anymore, but I always wondered why it was featured on the front page but never in a button like the rest of the archives we have.

Ok, I'm gonna do my best...

I'll make a praise button too.

Also, it would help me if you told me what font the "user cp", "register", etc buttons are, and what colors they are...

If you dont know or something... thats alright, I'll wing it

One is the homepage of the site and one is the main page of the boards... And alas, your home is off-centered.

Brent

P.S. Are they supposed to be the same size as they are now, or more similar to the boards' buttons? Because there's really no way to get a font that matches the others to look good in the same size of buttons we have now... I'm sure Phil is finding out as I type how bad "Guitar Tabs" looks in that font when it's on a button that small...

Phil
If you have Ulead PhotoImpact I can send you the sources for the ones on the right and you can modify those.

If not, maybe you could download the demo: http://www.ulead.com/

If you don't want to do them, let me know and I will.
