Couple Geometry Questions - Please Help!!

(Mods, I'll move this to the HW soon, don't worry... I just need some help with it for now.)

Reviewing for midterms, I can't remember (and want to check) some of this stuff, please help me:

1) What are the sum of the measures of the exterior angles of a hexagon (6 sides)?
2) What are the sum of the measures of the exterior angles of a triangle (3 sides)?

Are they both 180 degreess? Are they both 360 degrees? Or are they different answers??

3) What is the sum of the measures of the interior angles of an octagon (8 sides)??
- Note: The sum of the interior angles of a triangle (3 sides) is 180 degrees. A quadrilateral (4 sides) is 360 degrees.

4) What is the measure of one interior angle of a decagon (10 sides)?
5) What is the measure of one interior angle of a hexagon (8 sides)?

I think there is an equation for the measure of interior angles....(N-2) x 180 N=number of interior angles...
sum exterior angles always equal 360...I think...
Do you have your book Phil?

Nope, I dont have my book... thats why I'm asking

Ok, the sum of the exterior angles is always 360.

How do you find ONE exterior angle of a regular shape?

Also, how do you find ONE interior angle of a regular shape?

1. one extirior angle of a shape is 360/the number of angles i think.

2. 180-(360/number of sides)

Ok phil....to find one exterior of a Regular shape--> 180 minus one interior angle
To find one interior angle--> use my equation (N-2) x 180 to find the sum of the interior angles. After you find the sum of the interior angles, divide by the number of interior angles.

I'm not understanding what yall are saying..

Correct me here what is wrong:

The sum of the exterior angles is always 360.
To find one exterior angle, divide 360 by the number of sides.

The sum of the interior angles is 180 * (sides-2)
To find on interior angle, divide the sum of the interior angles by the number of sides.

Are those all correct? So, the only equation I need to know is 180 * (n-2)????
