The Visual Arts forum needs to be brought to life. Kepa and I have devised a brilliant plan: competitions. Monthly, if this one succeeds. They will be oh so fun, and we want EVERYONE to participate. The themes will be zany and will leave heaps of room for artistic license and imagination which is ripe in the people of CGR. I urge you, fellow forumers, to partake in the fun!


The first competition's theme is the PERSONIFICATION OF A VEGETABLE.

Let your imagination run wild with the topic. You could take a photo of a tomato with a face drawn on it, and drop some water down it's face so that it looks like it's been crying. You could draw a zucchini as a superhero. It can be done in any media- whether it be by traditional means (drawing, painting, sculpture) or digital (Oekaki, digital painting etc.). Here are two examples: a brocolli guitar player, and a charming photomanipulation by Kepa.
