I read it!
I hate hair clips that are too tight. They are lame.

Thank you.
It is 8:55 AM. I just ate breakfast. Omlet and muffin. Muffin was good. Anyhoo, I'm not sure what we're up to today. I do know that I have to finish watching the 1965 version of The Producers and then watch the new one because it has to go back today. I think we're going to the Cabin on Sunday. I think.

I remember it well! Taylor and her parents visited us in NJ. We went to the World Trade Center (but couldn't go up because it was too foggy). We have a great picture of Taylor and her cousins with the World Trade Center in the background (NY City skyline).
By the way... I am Taylor's aunt.

I love the mountains! We get to go up to the M's cabin from time to time. It's wonderful.

Yes, homeschooling has a number of benefits. We sometimes have done school in our p.j.'s , and taken time off "just because". There are all kinds of things that count as "school" that are wonderful learning experiences. When we moved here to CA from NJ, we drove across the country (took 8 days) and counted it as school. We learned a lot!

Hope you have (had) a great weekend at the cabin (lucky dog!).

I saw Orangegirl Alex today. We played some extreme/weird ping-pong and ate hot dogs. And watched part of Star Wars. It was good.

Alex!!

I'm so sorry I couldn't come down and visit with you and your family this weekend. Sometimes being a responsible adult really stinks. It sounds like you and Taylor had a lot of fun though - so I'm really glad you two got to spend some time together. Be sure to let us know next time your family is going to your cabin, maybe you can come to our cabin next time.

extreme/weird ping pong is where you dont hit the balls when they come at you and you jump (in my case) around and squeal and laugh and...stuff.

Ooh, once upon a time, a friend and I played world ping-pong. Where we'd name a country, and then for that country, we did something different, for instance, one country had us sticking the paddles in our shirt pockets and hitting like that, or kneeling, or holding the paddles in our mouths. It was fun.

Hello, Alex.

Alex, were you ever one of the wild bunch who played Chinese ping-pong out in the Two Acre Woods? Mr. W. would get about 10 people around the ping pong table with paddles in hand, then people would run around the table and hit the ball if it came their way. I'm sure there was music, probably Mr. W. singing the Papaya song really loud.
