I'd try drawing a face into the egg, or put glaring eyes and the head of some sort of monster peeping out of the box. Could make things a little interesting.
I think I should get back to drawing objects that require me to render different materials; I've been drawing too many portraits. |

#92 | | Crushy McSternum | Here's an idea: grab a t-shirt, a burlap sack, a pair of scissors and rip the skin off of some poor piece of roadkill. Then draw the crap out of the pile of disgusting remnants that the aforementioned items create when tossed mindlessly in the corner of your room.
... sorry. Weird mood. But the general concept is total cool- go for a still life with crazymany subjects and textures. *lives vicariously through Megan*

Gosh, It's hard to show enthusiasm on the internet when you're bound by illiteracy.
Thanks Nate.
My teacher keeps insisting that I start using charcoal. This is the first real charcoal drawing I've ever done:
I have to say, I hate the medium.
The guy is John B Watson, I think he's a famous psychiatrist or psychologist. |

Something a little different:
I acquired a trial of a computer program called Corel Painter, which allows the user to emulate the feel of using real traditional methods digitally. To do this digital watercolour painting, I used a graphics tablet which is a pad connected to the computer with a sensory pen that acts just like a mouse. |

#100 | | impecunious | I really wanted to try doing a pastel portrait on coloured paper. I think it turned out well, seeming it's the first time I've touched soft pastels- though I could have spent more time on making sure I got the proportions right. I may- if I get around to it- post progress photos of this one. It started out horribly. |
