| Wow, your work is incredible. I really like the way you did that last one. I also think those flowers are amazing. Seeing all this makes me want to draw more!

| Wow, I really love it. It's not my favorite of the things you've done, but it's still amazing.

| Cool stuff. You can sort of tell it's outside your regular style, though. It's not that any of them are particularly bad, but many (particularly for the magician guy) are a little too "clip-art"-y, if that makes sense.
The FIRST set for the magician, though, is brilliantly conceived and executed. It might be cool if you blew up the picture some and used the "J" from the Jack as the "J" in "Jenson" somehow, so the picture would be bigger.
Do these companies give you any sort of requirements / guidelines? You might want to think about trying to stick to two / three colors (I see you've mostly done that anyway). Make sure they're vector files, too.

#205 | | impecunious | The brief should say how many colours you can use, and whether you can use gradients or not. For instance, the magician brief allowed me to use any amount of colours and gradients I wanted, whereas the Gold Coast Farms prefered the use of only four colours, and wanted those four colours to be blue, yellow, red and green. The brief also gives some vague ideas for imagery and concepts, which is very convenient.
I realise my entries may look a little contrived and that I am outside my comfort zone, but I hope that as I continue to enter these contests I will get a lot better at interpreting the need of the client and what works as a corporate logo. |

#209 | | impecunious | Thanks! I actually had something like Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell cover in mind when I drew it. It's going to be part of an entry to a fun multimedia contest in which the subject is 'sword and sorcery'. |
