So, new vocalist is s very good vocalist, but not better than the last, but he doesn't ruin the new album.

I really prefer him, but part of it might be that the recording quality of their new Cd is quite improved.
Same with why I enjoy Howard of KSE over Jesse.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal".

The recording quality of the new album is too polished. Whats with every band polishing the records so that they sound fake and perfect? Like BTA.

I don't think Jake can sing the Thrill Seeker songs that well and I know Josh couldn't do something like the into the Eleventh Hour.

Part of me still prefers Josh, though. He just sounded really...cool when he screamed. Yeah.

Have you listened to the EP they have?

Called "Looks Fragile After All". I bought it at the show, and i guess it has their first 5 songs, and theyre really good ones. Anyway I don't know if they sell it anywhere else, but if you have the opportunity, buy it and it comes with a DVD.

(I'm guessing this is a more appropriate section that CD reviews for this....)

Just got back from seeing these guys live. They weren't that amazing, but pretty energetic considering how much the instrumental members have to concentrate on playing right. It was really stupid though, cause they only got to play 6 songs, and with the exception of The Human Abstract (maybe) ABR was the best band on the Take Action tour.

I bought Thrill Seeker cause it was the only thing I could possibly get signed...then I wasn't able to.

They're releasing an e.p. of the Messengers B-sides, and they've got one of them up. No real rhythm breakdown to speak of, which may be a relief to some. It's definitely different from the general theme of Messengers, but I liked it.

The apparent seriousness or rather just the very idea of pop filtered through metalcore makes that song induce a chuckle or two.

See, I think Howard is pretty decent, but I much prefer Jesse's work.
