Im not from there but I lived in Ketchikan for 3.5 years....southeast is by far the most gorgeous part of alaska!

I've been there too!
I just found this forum and am so excited to see some Alaskans here!

I live in "Los Anchorage", but I have gotten to spend some time in Southeast a couple times in my life... I think that God's "looking glass window" into "wonderland" is somewhere near the top of Portage pass heading toward Southeast.

My borther and his family live in Kodiak, and the dentist my wife once worked for... you all are really fortunate to have such a wonderful community there. Next time I bring the family over there to visit is there any chance we could meet and maybe play? I'm a poorly skilled guitarist, but have learned how to play quietly in case I'm off key!
