Pray for my Dad! please!!!

Ok I'm making a long story short... here goes nothing... Okay, my dad and my mom got divorced and about 2 years after that he got a notice that he was going to lose his house within about 1 or 2 years. So he built a house on some open land. Many problems there. Too many, it would take too long. Anyway, this house... lets just say isn't very good it is really little w/ a front room, kitchen, and the back of the house where the laundry is. And a garage for all of his office stuff.. I'll explain that later. And a closet... No bedrooms he basically sleeps on the couch. But when he moved into his house it rained really hard and the roof to the garage started leaking... like really badly. And he had lost his job b4 that. So he has all of his office stuff from working for about 30 years in one place. As this progresses he has diabetes in the mean time and he is losing his sight due to it. So he can't do much anymore. He still can't get a job and his sight might be really bad some days and it might be semi good others. Okay, that is the story in short version. I know that is long to some of you but that was as short as I could make it. Please pray for him!!

I will pray for your father. Is he a Christian? What kind of support system does he have?

I really don't know if he is a Christian or not. He has been to church and stuff but he stopped going. And what do you mean by "what kind of support system does he have"?

Thanks for all of your prayers... his eyesite is still not better...( it never will be because of his diabetes) but he sold a piece of his farm equipment that he never uses... and got money to take care of his house and built a little more on to it... but he still doesn't have a job..(nobody will take him because of his bad eyesite... he doesn't know how bad it will be from day to day) So still pray for him PLEASE... they seem to be working a little...

You said that he and your mother are divorced, and I was wondering if he had any friends or family around or if this is a situation where you are shouldering the burden of worrying about your dad.

He's got some neighbors that are his friends and they continue to check on him and stuff.... But no he doesnt' have any family around here... They are all back in Michigan... And it is just his mom...

A little update guys.. He's accually doing worse.. as of Saturday morning his eyesight is gone.. completely.. and the doctors don't know if he'll ever get it back.. I'm really scared and really worried right now.. and this is just all too much to take in at once.. so I really don't know what else is going on around me.. anyway.. it's not going well right now.. and my mom is helping now because my dad asked her to.. she hadn't talked to him in 3 years but now she's doing everything that she can to help him.. and I am to as well as everyone else that knows.. but I just can't do much... I even think about it and I start crying idk how many times I've started crying in church because my mom was telling people about it.. but just please pray for him he needs all the help he can get..
