Pray for my Dad! please!!!

Thanks for all the prayers guys.. a little update.. he went in for a doctors appt.. and then went over to the hospital and they did some tests... and the doctors said that it wouldn't be permant but it was worse than all the other ones that have happened.. and he may still get some vision back but they don't know how much or for how long... so yeah.. just figured I'd put a little update here..
Keep prayin though.. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!

I went to my dad's today to visit him like I usually do every Sunday afternoon with my brother. And he was getting very agrivated with everything because he likes to do stuff around his house like carpentry stuff and he couldn't see for a long time to do that. So he's been really bored. And he told us that he could see shapes but not much else. I was trying so hard not to cry when he kept telling me stuff about like that every time he loses his site he'll get less back. And I just got home and went into my room and I turned on the radio and Untitled Hymn (Come to Jesus) was on and I just started crying. I couldn't hold it anymore. Oh and he has asked my mom to help him with stuff now and it is working VERY well, she is really doing everything she can to help him with stuff. So far so good with her helping him. Anyway, just thought I'd keep you all updated on this subject.
Thanks everyone again for praying and I think they are working.

Things are getting a little better... He's gaining back some of his sight.. but not enough yet. My mom is really helping him a lot. Before they wanted nothing to do with eachother anymore. But it seems to be getting better. He's getting a lot more help with somethings that he shoulda been getting help with before.. So thanks sooooo much everybody.. Keep praying they seem to be helping..

I'm trying. I havn't seen him yet for a while or heard from him. I know that he's getting a little frustrated because Christmas is coming up and he can't get into town to get anything for family. And he's kind of sad that he doesn't have the money to get a lot of things... But he's getting some help with stuff that he didn't have before.. So I hope things will continue to get better..

I'm like crying typing this.. It's really hard for me. It's getting hard for my mom too because she is feeling bad and she'll like call him and stuff to make sure he's alright. With the divorce before I never thought she'd talk to him anymore.

Thanks everyone. He's coming over this weekend because we're working on our kitchen floor and we're using the same stuff he put down in his house and we don't know how to do it. So my mom asked him to come help if he wanted. And so my brother is going to be picking him up on Friday and he's going to be here helping. He kinda feels bad that my mom has to take him to all his doctors appt's and that my brother and I have to do a lot for him around the house. I really don't mind it and my mom said she didn't either. But my mom is thinking maybe that he might think this is kind of a "paying back" for some stuff we've done for him. Accually I don't mind helping him and neither does my mom or my brother but he feels bad anyway. Things are getting semi better.. And I think the prayers are working. So keep praying for him please! He's been a lot better than from the start and he's getting more help than ever before.

i am praying, and i would liek to add something.

there is one good thing that can come of this... if your mom and you and your brother show God's love and mercy to your dad. then maybe he can see God's love through all of you, he may even accept Christ as his savior. and also, it is bringing your mother and father a little closer together, which is excellent.

My brother hasn't accepted Christ as his savior let alone my dad. My mom and I are working on it. We're trying to surround him with stuff about Christ and we're talking about Jesus more while he's home. I do believe that something good can come of this too. But it's happening very slowly.
