Filling a hole

What should I use to fill a screw hole on my guitar? It doesn't have to look pretty because I'm just going to make a smaller one next to it so it gets covered anyway.

Thanks.

I don't think a picture will be necassary. It's just a screw hole, and I need a smaller one. I've been reading up on this though and I think I may be able to do it with toothpicks and glue. Good or bad idea?
