| Our youthgroup met at a park yesterday insted of at church. It wasn't very hot and there was a light wind which was nice. We played some games for a while then we did some singing, it was really cool. We were going to launch a model rocket but it got a little too windy so we didn't. Our dad picked up a bunch of StarTrek movies while we were at YF (youthgroup).

| well, there isn't much happening at home right now. today is the Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono so we will be lisening to the race over the radio. i am thinking about trying to building a steam cannon. we saw a episode of Mythbusters were they built one. still have not been doing any work on the van because of ether chores or because of it raining. we have a garage but there isn't enough room to park a full-size high top conversion van in it, let alone do any sort of repair work on it. it is sitting in front of the garage right rom with a tarp over it. i am starting to learn to skateboard, which is kind of hard but it is also fun. the problom is that we don't have a whole lot of space to skateboard. we live on a cold-a-sac so we have very little traffic with is very nice, but there is gravel in some spots so we will have to sweep it ourselves or wait for the township to come through with a street sweeper. i was burning paper the other day so i connected the blower that i built for my furnace to the burning barrel. it kicked the temperature from between 600 and 800 degrees up to around 1300 or 1400 degrees fahrenheit (it burned a couple logs till there was almost nothing left). it got hot enouth to melt some soda cans. i also found that if you throw in a short piece of old garden hose in with the burning wood you will very quick have a huge amount of black smoke and if you have a blower running you will get purple flames. i will perably need to get a haircut pretty soon, it is getting pretty long. got to go, see ya'll

| well on Monday the motor for the air conditioner stopped working so now we are without air conditioning. please pray for our mom because she dones't do to well in heat. yesterday it got up to i think 85 degrees outside, but it also got up to 80 degrees inside. it felt better outside but our mom had to stay inside because she kept getting bitten by insects. we have fans running to help keep air moving, but it is still really uncomfortable. our neighbors across the street hired a couple guys to reshingle their roof, which was one of the most exciting things that has happened on our part of the street in a little while. right now i am trying to get a tan, but i have to be careful that i don't over do it because i can get sunburned pretty easly. i submited my first guitar tab the other day (it has not been posted on the website yet). the tab is for the chourus of the song "Dance with me" by Jump5. i am excited becuase about a month from now there will be a monster truck show the Westend Fair (the fair that we go to). we usully go to one of the demo derbys that they have , but the monster trucks are so much cooler. last time we went (also the first time they had monster trucks at the fair) they had BigFoot. last year before the show we were able to ride in the back of a monster truck. they were giving rides around the arena for $6, it was really really cool! well got to go, see ya'll
