Radio shack is an office building in Texas. They usually contract factories that are currently building items for quality name products such as Sanyo or Hitachi. This amp may have been built under the same contract specs as say Gibson or Fender. I have a Radio shack guitar contracted in 1967 that was built at an Epiphone plant.
