I spent a whole day there once because I drove my dad there for a meeting, and I was just kinda wandering around all day. After I dropped him off in downtown, I quickly found my way to the ghetto. I couldn't find my way out for 2 hours!!! That sucked! Not that I am against the ghetto, but there's usually nothing in the ghetto and I had lots of time to kill! I guess what I'm trying to say is that the ghetto is huge, and there's not much outside the ghetto either, from what I remember.

Yeah, there are lots of ghetto areas around downtown, but that's true of any moderately sized city. What part of downtown were you in?

I'm not real sure... it was in early June, so I dont' really remember. All I know is that I was in the ghetto pretty quickly, before I realized what was going on.

TN rocks

I'm from Memphis. The home of the king of rock and roll, John Cooper from Skillet. If you don't know who Skillet is that's unfortunate and you should learn. Hmm, some other awesome bands from Memphis are Justifide, Pillar, Vagrant Minds, and I'm sure may others. I'm not a super big Vols fan, but I hope everyone can forgive me for that.

I'm going to be living in Chatt. for about 5 months starting in mid-April. When I've lived in the States, it's been in Chattanooga. I guess cause my parents mission board that they work with is there. Or cause they went to Tennessee Temple. I dunno.

I live about 30 miles northeast of Nashville.

It's a nice place.

Anyone else near Nashville that hates country music? :kmad:

I live between Memphis and Nashville, and I don't really care for country music, though I do enjoy some of it. Usually not the CMT type country, but the alternative or bar-type country.
