| Keoni, a white Netherland Dwarf baby, was born on Friday, May 19th, 2006, and lived until Wednesday, May 24th, 2006. It's name means "God is Gracious". Attached is the picture I took of it at birth.

| Someone literally poisoned our cat. He died two nights ago. We invested two.5 years of love in him and someone who not only hates us hates cats or animals altogether, poisoned him.
May God forgive whomever it was and may He continue to care for animals through those who lolve them. We aren't getting another cat for a long time.
I buried him next to a flowering tree where he will fertilize it and laid some of the flowers from the tree in the tomb. Job 12:7-8 (NLT) “Ask the animals, and they will teach you. Ask the birds of the sky, and they will tell you. Speak to the earth, and it will instruct you. Let the fish of the sea speak to you.”
Give your animal a special hug from me and my wife .
I still have a 5-ft ball python and over a dozen fish to care for...not to mention that all animals are really mine (wild or tame)! Our dominion and care if given by our God. LOVE THEM!

| I don't know if this is bringing up a dead thread, or if it's okay since it's stickied, but I just barely saw this thread.
My dear cat Katze died 2 years ago, and he was my dear cat for 12 years. He was the most beautiful orange tabby, and he was a complete SNOB like a normal cats. I was the only one that he really liked in the family, and while he was a family cat, he was more mine then anybody else's.
I sitll miss him. He learned how to climb up my ladder to the top of my bunk bed and wake me up, and was a GREAT mouser. |

| This is my first venture into this part of the forum.
Kaze, my cat (which I got last month and is still a kitten) is just like yours and I love having her around. I feel your pain. It's not a nice feeling losing a pet.
Elationist, I moved two years ago and my last kitty (who was feral) did not want to move with me. She was afraid of the movers. Before that her mother had done the same thing the previous time I'd moved. I felt it was too much for me. I'd grown attached to them. At that time I made a decision to not get an other pet any time soon leaste the same thing happen again.
I stayed without one for two whole years. During that time I shared kittens with my cousine who lived next door but I missed having my own cat. I'm now enjoying a lovely kitten called Sapphy! I still remember Trebby who was my favourite and her babby Kitty. They did not die (at least not to my knowlege).
I'm happy I got a knew cat. The memory of the other will still be there. |

| My dog Ginger died nine years ago. She was born one-and-a half years before that. She was a ginger colored mix of Alsatian and Ridgeback. Ginger was very loving, playful and a joy to my whole family, including my mother who was very firm with her (would not let her into the house for one minute).
One day I went running and she insisted on following me. I tried to have her go back and she came anyway. As we were nearing home a vehicle bounced her. The driver slowed down then drove off, running her over completely and did not stop. She survived that ordeal. I tried to pick her up to take her home but she would not let me. She held unto my finger and would not let go. That bite was painful and it bled. She was in pain and I understood. I was able to get a ride to take her home.
The following day I had my friend bring her to the Vet. That afternoon he called from the vets office to let me know that it would be better to have her put to sleep. The Vet said that since Ginger was female it would not have been worthwhile to keep her alive. I did not understand it. He said something about it would cost me to get her hip replaced and then she would have other complications and would not be able to have pups.
I wish I could have been there. I also wished I’d asked the vet more questions. But she’s gone now. I’ve not had a dog since but that’s mostly because I’d want to have a fenced yard and money to feed it, basically a controlled environment. So for now I enjoy my kitten Sapphy. |

| Larry (nickname Beaky)...I forget when we first got you, but you passed away in October of 2006
Beaky had more personality and spunk than any of our other pets...he was always entertaining, and would talk to us "Beaky! Pretty bird! WEEEVIL!" (we tried to teach him to say Evil but he never quite got it right). He'd always say Sssstep up! when he wanted out of his cage. We used to let him fly around and he loved it :-) He got seriously injured after he tried to take on a neighborhood dog head on: We had him out on the deck and he chose then to figure out how to escape from his cage...and this little four-five inch tall bird tried to take on a golden retriever). Miraculously he survived after several vet trips, and then he kept on surviving for 2 years. Unfortunately he fell ill this fall, and there wasn't much more we could do. At least he's not in pain any more though we will never have another pet like him!

| Lily. She was more than just an adorable kitty, she was our Lily Belle. She would chase and fetch her ball of yarn, sleep in the oddest positions, and get into the weirdest places. She was just a tiny kitten, the runt of the litter, when she came to us. And she was only with us for about a year in 03/04 before she died of a liver disease, but we loved her so much. She lived among us in our house, and now she lives on in our hearts.

| In memory of my first cat, who I named Meow in a bout of inspiration.
Meow was the runt of the litter and I took special care of it. We named him Meow because he wouldn't shut up for the first two months of his life. The name stuck, and I would take meow with me everywhere.I woud put him in my "purse" and walk around outside with him. I even snuck him in my backpack to school once, because I couldn't bear to leave Meow at home by himself.
He died when I turned 14, and I bawled like a baby. I miss him.

| I don't have pictures yet. I'll have to find some and then scan them...
My dog Died Thursday, January 18 2006. The first living creature to show me real Love. I miss her. and always will. I have her collar on my wrist as a bracelett. I will keep it on, til I die.
"To see the first thing that I ever poured my heart into You'll never know the pain that I've been through I'm not so sure you'll ever know And so I'll make you understand the words that built my life" Those lyrics fit so well. She was the first thing I put my heart into. I loved that dog. Still do. But now she's gone. but, she won't be forgotten. I know that for effing sure! Good bye Cheyanne. I Love you with every part of my soul. You will be missed, and wept for. Be good where ever you are. Your friend, Keith Allen Lhamon

| My puppy Squeaker died when he was four years old. His pancreas(sp?) went out on him. When we caught him, it was too late He was a maltese. My baby left me! |

| Thursday, April 5th, I lost my BEW ND buck: Edward. He had GI Stasis, and there was nothing we were able to do. My mom was able to ease his pain, though, and he tried to say thank you at the end.
