| Well you guys are boring!
Anybody ever get a little irked by the fact that all the Halloween buzz just suddenly stops the very next day, because it's the 1st of November? Does that make sense? Like with other holidays yesterdaywaschristmasohsofunimissitalreadywhat'dyoudotistheseasonlalala, but Halloween is just halloweenOKAYDONENOVEMBERTHANKSGIVINGHOLIDAYSEASONSTARTSNOWYAYWHOO.
Anyway, I dressed up as a tattoo artist but ended up not going anywhere, because all my friends forgot about me. =p It was alright, though. The next morning I got to go to church looking like a hungover rock star.
Oh by the way, my hair is black. Yes, I really go all out. How else to appease a boring life?

| Working in a store makes holidays very unappealing. We had Halloween stuff up a month before, and we have had Christmas stuff up since the beginning of October, and now it's going into full swing. I'm sick of it and it hasn't even started. *sigh* |

| I believe Ali is still alive. Unless a very good impersonator is behind the scenes out there... |

| Oh really. I haven't seen her around. Unless of course you're talking about facebook, which I don't have her on my list.

| You should have me on your list!!!
I'm still alive and here, and I actually do get on CGR fairly often, I just don't have much to say nowadays, so I don't post as much. But I have something to say today- I'm making a wedding cake!!!! Due Wednesday, and I'll try to have some pictures on hand when I'm done. If it ends up looking okay. =p
And, I'm not liking living in Memphis very much so far. It's been a while and it hasn't grown on me much at all. Of course it doesn't help that I still talk to all of my friends from North Carolina as often as I did when I lived there, and the last time I went visiting I ended up getting my old boyfriend back. -.- So I guess my life is still sort of built around where I used to live.Bad on my part. But having some things to do is keeping me busy, though I don't think I'll be staying here. I would like to be in Nashville, actually. Now that's a nice place.

| And a scary drive too, I bet. o.0
I got a dog this week. Her name is Nefertiti. She is picky. We got her dog treats and she would not eat them. It's okay though, because my cat likes them.
And I desperately need help with my recording skillz, because, well, I have none. But maybe it's not me, and it is my microphone, because it sucks. But more likely it's both of us.
I apologize for having little of interest to talk about. It is sad that I have allowed my life to become so boring.

| If you want a relatively inexpensive solution to getting a clear recorded sound, you might want to look into this.
Right now they have an amazing price on it...even less than I paid for it. I can point you to some of my recordings with it if you want to hear what it sounds like plugged into (it ONLY plugs into usb) the cheapest laptop Dell sells with probably the cheapest soundcard too. ha.
That mic improved the quality I could get greatly.
P.S. - I use it with this software, which is well worth the $25. You can download a free demo of that. |
