Unfortunately, you won't be welcomed home with 3 feet of snow like there usually is this time of year. . . NOTHING! There is NO SNOW ON THE GROUND!!!
Kinda sad.

i don't know. i like snow and i hate it all at the same time. i went up north this weekend and i didn't bring a coat. just when i turned in to the driveway for my final destination, i realized that there is snow all over up here. so i have been cold. i guess it's pretty though. so i guess if i have a coat and the roads aren't bad, i like it. i don't like it when i'm not prepared though. but i guess i should hate myself then, not the snow. hehehe.

Snow is great, it's that darn bone-chilling-so-cold-it-hurts that really sucks...

And in regards to "Minnesota nice" mentioned earlier. It's a myth...I have lived in MN my whole life (35 years and counting) I work in downtown Minneapolis 5 floors over Nicollet Mall and live a little south of the river in the southern 'burbs...people are nice, my neighborhood is the nicest I have ever lived in, but people are no better or worse than anywhere else as a whole.

That said, I like Minnesota. Myself and my neighbors look kinda like Hank Hill and his friends in the intro to "King of the Hill" during the summer

yeah. the bulk of my extended family lives in minnesota, and my family reunions look quite a bit like an episode of the king of the hill. that's really scary. i never looked at it that way before.

Minnesota nice normally applys to Minnesotans being nice to people outside of MN. Like when my sister was searching for colleges, you could tell the people were just being nice because they were supposed to, not because they wanted to. But MN Nice still doesn't apply to people just because they live in MN.

I am sorta MN nice... just not in that way. I will go up to someone I know, and be really polite and stuff, but usually it is just to be polite, no other reason.

and we have no snow either. It snowed about half a week ago, one or two inches. Then melted by 11 am. Phooey.:kshifty:

It was such an awesome time. We went out street witnessing and worked in the church for awhile. . . fun. You know what's funny Vida? You saw us doing our mime in Mexico, we were there at the exact same time. . . and we've happened to have been at the same place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. . . how weird is that?
Yea.... it is funny!!!!

Are you stalking me?!?!?

Just kidding!!

It's been snowing all day here. . . but it's all melted!!! Vida, I think you are the only one here that doesn't want snow! We are all used to it here. . . our activities depend on snow. We want to sled! to Ski! to Snowboard! It's kinda a bummer when its the middle of winter and we can't do that. Anyhow, I love Minnesota. It's so beautiful here. I love the seasons, the beautiful fall leaves, the spring rain, the pure white winters (thats how its supposed to be) and the warm summer evenings at church gatherings. . .
