i know this isnt a new release. i need an answer to this. in this movie their watches stopped working and their car wouldnt start.......why?? the movie doesnt explain this......is isnt the mines (i thought about that), and there isnt any other explaination.

i don't know about the watches but l8er in the movie the girl finds out that the freak had been following them the whole time, therefore, he was the reason the car stopped working. he took the parts out of it and came back l8er to help them "fix" their car.
that movie was freaky, but it taught me to appreciate life ALOT more.
hope this helps, sun

i disagree with you. after they discovered that the car wouldnt crank, he popped the hood and looked around, discovering nothing wrong. My thing is this---the headlights and rear lights worked........any mechanic would know that they had some juice. when she turned the key, nothing happened at all. which means what??? and how does that tie into the watches not working? i mean....maybe he did sneak over and unplug something then sneak away, but what that wouldnt be noticable?

All I could think of was that maybe there was an EMP (electro magnetic pulse)... becuase that would stop any electronics from working. However, the lights worked... so... yeah. I haven't a clue.

This is a good question... and one that I never even thought about after the movie ended.
