Holy Crizzap

So I've been watching the first season of 24.

There's a character on the show who is a senator aspiring to become president. There have been several scenes where he is telling someone off, and he has this expression that I've seen before in a movie. And I can't figure out the movie, but it's been irritating me.

Today, it hits me. The senator on 24 was Pedro Cerrano from Major League, the movie. Wow.

Okay, you can go back to whatever you were doing. I just needed to get that off my chest.

I would've happily told you that.

Oh yeah, I'm addicted. It started with the present season (season five), and the youth minister at my church loaned me the first season. One good thing about my sickness this past week - I've watched about ten episodes of the first season. Man, it's good.

I'm still not sure I understand how the show went past two seasons. Did they start another day or something? Wouldn't that mean that it should be renamed something like 48 or 72 now? Or was it all just a hoax to get ratings / viewers?

The idea is that the entire season takes place over 24 hours of real time. It doesn't mean that all five seasons are five days in a row.

Look up Dennis Haysbert on www.imdb.com

You'll know the truth and it will set you free.

Yes.

For example, this season started in the morning I believe. Season 1 started at midnight and goes to 11:59 of the same day (I'm at 4 p.m. right now).

So our main character spends a third of the season sleeping, and two shows eating, and a show or so sitting on the john? Where do I sign up?!?

He apparently never uses the restroom either.

I love 24, but I was gone yesterday and my family didn't tape it for me... so I don't know anything that happened.

My mom walked in and saw part of 24 once. She saw David Palmer and said, "Oh! I thought this was one of those Allstate commercials..."
