I went to guatemala this spring with some members of our church. It was amazing. I want to go back this coming spring with some christian friends.

Hopefully I'll be able to take my youth group on a short-term trip next year. I may go with a group from school if that doesn't pan out.

I went to Tijuana in Mexico and built houses in the Spring of 2005. It was quite the expeariance and I plan to go back this year.

...for 6 years, I have been on missions everywhere I go. I live in the U.S. and I am aware that countries all over are sending them to the U.S...

As a matter of fact, I have been able to give the full counsel of the Gospel to several people in my own community...almost an average of 1 a day lately. I can't believe it! People are so hungry for His word and the whole truth of the Gospel, not some watered down slinky down the stairs kind of false gospel. I have seen over two dozen friends and family come to Christ. I am so grateful for what God is doing through us all as we share the truth of His word and the Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. I pray that He refines our witness and that He is magnified!

John 16:7-11(NASB) 7 But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 "And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; 11 and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

KEY: Matthew 5:15-17 (NIV) 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. 17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

There is a proper use of God's law. It serves as a school-master to bring the lost to Christ. The principle is Law to the Proud & Grace to the Humble.

Psalms 19:7-8 (NKJV) 7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes (conscience);

After witnessing to people, I ask them, do you understand what I have said to you? Do you understand that salvation through Jesus Christ is only by repentance from sin and faith in what Christ has done? It's not by "saying a little prayer" or "accepting Jesus in your heart". Jesus needs no acceptance, we must be accepted by Him. God the Father has accepted Him and no one but Christ gets into Heaven. If you are not found in Him, you are not getting in. God's wrath abides on those who are not in Christ.

He is Lord whether or not we call Him so. It's all about preaching the whole counsel of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I find many people have heard a watered down happy-life-Jesus message instead of God's holy message. And when (not if) trials and tribulation sets in, they fall away.(: God converts them, He convicts them, we preach in season and out of season the whole counsel. The bad news [all have sinned (I walk them through the 10 Commandments and let them say and admit what they have done---by His gracious Spirit, it breaks their pride) Sin, Judgment, and Hell] and the good [Jesus and reconciliation].
